President Yoweri Kaguta Museven is being sworn in for his fifth term as President of the Republic of Uganda at Kololo ceremonial grounds this Thursday 12th May 2016.

The theme of the ceremony is; “A firm foundation built for Uganda’s steady progress”.

Museveni won the February 2016 presidential elections with 5,617,503 votes (60.75%) while his closest rival, Dr. Kizza Besigye got 3,270,290 Votes (35.37%).

A number of diplomats and Heads of State from various countries are in attendance to witness the historical function.
