As the year 2015 dramatically kicks off, the political tension is increasingly taking a new trend. The student leaders you must be knowing this better.

The incidents that unfolded at Soroti during the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA) elections are still fresh in your minds. I’m told some university students are yet to get out of the hangover. Take me right, I mean the political one and not the Kawunyemu of the sort.

And as I dust my black shoes with Kiwi just to say bye bye to January’s stress, I recall how the month has not only left Jenifer Musisi’s green belts along Kampala roads dry but also the sun has been shinning North and South in the pockets of many.

Is this really a garuga?
Is this really a garage?

This means there is a cheerful reason to welcome February given the fact that valentine’s day is soon knocking.

But as the seconds turn into minutes, and the minutes into hours, 2015 is leading us to 2016. The year when Ugandans aged 18 and above will be deciding on who the next Ugandan President will be.

My question though remains;  How are we welcoming 2016……? Is it through the yellow innovations we are seeing cropping up every day or we should leave this to Dr. B Kiggundu (Chairman Electoral Commission)  to answer?

This is my view, what do you think?
