The entrepreneurs were tasked to come up with growth plans for their businesses as part of the requirements for the award.

Best business plans were selected by analysts and tutors from Orient Bank Business and the Makerere University Business School Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation Centre respectively.
The other four winners went home with a sum of ugx 10 million each
These were :
- Label It Enterprises which deals in asset tags and labels
- Blue Atlantiva Limited- a coffee processing company
- Precision Africa limited- a construction company
- Zabuys.com- an e-commerce platform each took home Ugx 10 million.
The Principal, Makerere University Business School, Prof. Waswa Balunywa commended Orient bank’s efforts towards helping startup businesses. He further implored the participants to continue the spirit of seeking new knowledge.

I therefore applaud you for making the right decision to seek professional guidance in business management skills because this will enable you sustain your business through various conditions and I encourage you to continue seeking professional guidance.” Prof. Balunywa said.
