Best Events to Attend this February

February is here and it’s time to start planning your calendar for a month filled with exciting events. From cultural festivals to music concerts/Events, there’s something for everyone.

1. Gwanga Mujje – JOSE CHAMELEON

Singer Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleon will be holding his concert, Taking to his social media accounts, Chameleon shared his official concert artwork, portraying the dates and venue followed by a caption that read “NEED I SAY MORE? Plugged!!!!!

2. Roast & Rhyme Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam

Under the theme ‘Raggae Nyam Nyam,’ the event is held at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo which brings reggae fans jam-packing the venue by 1 PM in tow with their braais (BBQ cooking stoves), ice coolers, camping chairs masai blankets (lesu) and of course meat of all kind.

Hosted by Swangz Avenue and sponsored by Bell Lager the show sees performances kicking off from artists signed by the label company.

3. LOVE MASALA Peotry Show

Utenzi House is at it again this February let’s paint the walls with so much love because that’s all the world needs, Utenzi House presents a production of Love masala situation ships Vs relationship let’s pay attention to these flags

4. Kampala- Kigali Fashion Week 2023

The Kampala-Kigali Fashion Week (KKFW) aims to reflect the values that Uganda and Rwanda share through fashion. Though both Kampala and Kigali have held individual fashion weeks in the past 2023 will be the first time these two countries will collaborate to produce a combined fashion event.

The event has received overwhelming support from the Ugandan and Rwandan governments, the Irish Embassy in Uganda and Government officials.

5. AmaFest

Amafest is a festival that puts Amapiano, Music and Art in one place. It is a musical festival of Amapiano music, which is widely listened to globally, gaining popularity in the years 2020 and 2021 with a rapidly growing fan base in Uganda and Africa as a whole. However, Amafest will also feature a showcase of African clothing, Culture, Antiques, jewellery and Art. It will feature a vast number of activities most of modern-day life but with a touch of africanicity

6. Roses for HER

6th Annual All Women’s social Networking Dinner and HER Women Inspiring Today (HER WIT) Awards. Lots of Networking, food, entertainment and Awards.

7. Wordcamp Entebbe

Get the opportunities to network with everyone involved & learn all about WordPress at Event Day, then give back to the community on Contributor Day. And of course, indulge in the fantastic ambience of the City of Tourism, Entebbe
