Challenges that turned Covid 19 lock down boredom into total bliss

Three weeks and counting, is the status of Uganda Covid 19 lock down. Apart from a few people who continue to work from home, a number of Uganda’s are home, idle and disorderly.  Though everything else is at a stand still, our creativity is on. Here are the few challenges Ugandan’s engaged in the past days to kill the boredom and stress.

30 pressure ups

As we all eagerly awaited the presidents promised indoor workout, little did we know it would turn out the countries trending challenge. So many people tried the challenge but unfortunately a handful could beat the presidents record.  One of the eye catching challenge was one of MC kapale a comedian who hardly had space in the room and Muhammad Nsereko MP for kampala.

Shoe challenge

Its hard to tell the origin of this challenge. I am sure you have seen people displaying, shoes clothes and sitting in the middle. So many celebrities including B2Cs Bobby Lash have taken part in this challenge. Its has been adopted by men than women.

Girl Friend ,Wife Side Chick challenge

Did you see people posting picture of themselves in three looks (Girl Friend, Wife and side Chick). This also took the country by storm as every girl was pulling her three look challenge. Some of the celebrities that participated was city socialite Don Zellla. We later saw men joining the challenge.

Bebe cool Number reading challenge

We all know the “corona distance” song by Bebe Cool ft all stars. So many people participated in this challenge on Tik tok as they imitated Bebe cool singing the Corona virus emergency call lines(Zero Munanan Zero, Zero… went the lyrics) . Others requested him to read out RDC numbers.

‘Utamwezana challenge

A tik tok video  of a Kenyan girl named Azziad Nasenya dancing to Utamwezana made rounds. The excitement had nothing to do with the song but  Azziad’s flat tummy and cute smile. So many men admired and praised her looks and good body which left no girl with a cool body sited. This millage made Azziad get reorganized by Tik tok as a fast growing individual on the platform as well as 100,000 followers on Instagram.
