After 16 years of radio presentation, Flavia Tumusiime plans to quit radio.
This comes a few years after she left her news anchoring role on NTV, and perhaps points to the end of Tumusiime’s time as a mainstream media practitioner.
Tumusiime made a Twitter post on August 30, saying, “Good morning. Tomorrow, 31st August, will be my final show at Capital FM Uganda for the mid morning show. Its been a life and career changing experience for me, since 2006. The time has come again for me to stretch my potential and see what else I can become.”
Tumusiime’s journey on radio started at the now defunct Hot 100, where she worked very shortly before joining Capital FM in 2006.
We await for her next move.
