ToT-400 is the professional track of the Strengthening Education and Training in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SET-SRHR) Curriculum Delivery component.

The course is a standardized, professional, in-service SRHR Trainer-of-Trainers certificate course offered jointly by the Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) and Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development (NTISD) with MakSPH as the awarding institution. The course is designed to increase the availability of skilled service providers and improve practice by strengthening SRHR capacity and competencies of a broad range of SRHR professionals from different regions of Uganda based on the content of the gender and age sensitive SRHR curriculum.

Entry requirements

  • Minimum A-level; Applicants should be in SRHR Practice or have related experience.
  • Timeline: Cohort 8 starts on 4th of August 2019. Cohort 9 starts on 6th of October 2019. Cohort 10 starts on 5th of January 2020. (The project has 10 cohorts)
  • Course Duration: 5-week residential course divided as follows: Each Cohort is conducted two phases. Phase 1 = 3 weeks; 2 weeks break; Phase 2 = 2 weeks; graduation.

All training and accommodation costs for successful applicants will be covered by the project.
