Islamic university in Uganda (IUIU) has been named the best private university in Uganda during the award ceremony of the Consumers Choice Awards that was held at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala on 29th July 2022.
The chief guest, Hon Muruli Mukasa who represented the Prime Minister, Right Honourable Robina Nabbanja commended IUIU for training skillful individuals with discipline which helped in boosting human resource hence building the economy of the country.
At the same occasion Dr Jamil Sserwanga, Vice Rector in charge of academics called upon consumers to support the education sector in order to develop Uganda’s economic status.
The Academic Registrar, Dr Halima wakabi invited consumers to join all the university campuses to extend their studies in different academic programmes.
She Also won a gift from Geepers that was handed to her by the chief guest. IUIU is well known for producing holistic students over the years since 1988.
