Sugar and Allied Industries Limited (SAIL), also referred to as Kaliro Sugar Limited, is a subsidiary of Alam Group which was established in 2011 with the aim of meeting the regional deficit and giving Uganda 100% sugar self-sufficiency.

·         Actively monitor and coordinate the implementation of the annual audit plan including any special tasks requested by management

·         Ensure adherence and compliance with management policies and procedures

·         The incumbent will oversee and review the work of internal audit teams, draw up reports on Audit engagement observation and make recommendation for correcting unsatisfactory conditions, improving operations and reducing costs.

·         Carry out audits as directed

·         The incumbent will oversee the Audit in ERP systems of the company to ensure integrity, reliability, security and accuracy of all the data and reports,

·         Design and develop internal controls in response to identified risks of the company

·         The applicant should preferably hold a bachelor’s degreei.e.B.COM/BBA – Accounting

·         Professional accounting qualification ACCA or CPA

·         Previous exposure and experience in internal or external auditing will be an added advantage
