Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) is set to host its first-ever Education Collaborative Career Fair, a significant event aimed at connecting students with potential employers and addressing the rising unemployment rates in Uganda. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the university’s Kihumuro main campus.
This groundbreaking initiative is designed to equip students with the tools and opportunities needed to make informed career decisions. The career fair will offer attendees the chance to explore various career paths, network with industry professionals, and secure internships or job placements.
“MUST is committed to nurturing well-rounded graduates who are equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills,” said Dr. Casim Umba Tolo, Director of PHARMBIOTRAC at MUST. “This career fair is a testament to our dedication to enhancing student employability and contributing to the nation’s economic growth.”
