MTN Uganda donated to Busoga University items worth 16 million Uganda shillings.  This was during activities to mark MTN’s “21 Days of Y’ello Care” under the theme “Education for all”, held at Busoga University on Friday 13th June 2014

The items included; a projector, projector screen, multipurpose printer, one laptop, an LCD television screen, stationery, mobile phones, Scholastic materials and internet connectivity for a year.

According to the Regional Business Manager, Eastern Region, Mr. Tusubia Andrew, MTN’s “21 Days of Y’ello Care” is a period when MTN staff go out to the communities, identify their needs and support them as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

“We were able to identify Busoga University’s needs and our focus is on equipping the Computer Laboratory in line with this year’s theme, “Education for all.
