MUBS Lecturer Juma Bananuka Beaten to Death

Makerere University Business School (MUBS) is mourning the death of JumaBananuka who was a lecturer in the Faculty of Commerce.

Mr. Juma was attacked and beaten up by a group of robbers known as “Kifeesi” that left him with wounds all over the body hence his death.

According to reports we received, Juma Bananuka succumbed to wounds on Sunday morning at Mulago Referral Hospital where he was receiving treatment from.

“MUBS has lost one its best researchers. He just finished his PhD and was waiting for graduation.  Robbers beat him and he died today in Mulago. Rest in peace Juma Bananuka,” read a tweet that was shared.

MUBS students and staff were notified that Bananuka had been attacked by unknown criminals with an aim of taking his life.
