Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) will be holding an international advanced medicine conference from 11th – 13th February this year.
The Conference will be held at University Inn in Mbarara District and will run under the theme “Developments in Adult Internal Medicine”.
The conference is aimed at promoting continuing medical education of medical doctors.
Guest speakers from the United Kingdom, United States of America and Uganda will update participants on clinical and research developments in Internal Medicine. Their focus will be on Cancer, Daibates, HIV medicine, Sepsis and malaria, Tuberculosis, Viral liver diseases among others.
The head, Department of Internal Medicine, MUST, Prof. Tony Wilson, said there will also be an informal meeting at BusharaIsland, LakeBunyonyi from 14th -16th Febrary after the conference.
