National Identity Card registration to kick off on 17th February 2014

The enrollment process for all Ugandans under the Integrated National Security and Identification Project will start on 17th February 2014.

The National Identity Card registration process seeks to ultimately capture the bio-data of all Ugandan citizens in a central government database for various purposes.

All citizen aged 16 and above will be registered and issued with National IDs during the first phrase.
