Ndejje University Student to Compete in Miss University Africa 2019

Brenda Namukasa, a Ndejje University student  has been selected among the lucky winners to compete in the Port Harcout Miss University Africa pageant 2019.

Namukasa proved to be the ‘only girl standing’among twelve others competitors from various Ugandan Universities and she is set to travel to Rivers State for the grand finale.

“I was overwhelmed by the fact that I emerged out of the group and screening stages. I look at this as a challenge to represent my country and I thank God for the journey I have moved so far,” Namukasa said in an interview.

Brenda Namukasa is aged 21 years and currently a second year student of Bachelors in Business Studies at Ndejje University Kampala.

Miss University Africa (MUA) is an annual non-Bikini beauty pageant organized by Visions Innovations and Concepts with over fifty-four (54) participants from universities across Africa.
The pageant was first held in 2010.The winner is awarded a cash prize of $50,000 and other endorsement deals, a brand new car and becomes a United Nations (UN) student ambassador.
