Ndejje University Unveils Medical School Block
Ndejje University has officially received its newly constructed Medical School block, a major milestone in its quest to enhance healthcare education. The contractors handed over the facility on January 29, 2025, marking a new era for the university’s Faculty of Medicine.
According to a statement from the university, the modern facility is designed to accommodate the growing number of students pursuing diploma and degree programs in various medical fields. “This new block is a game-changer for medical education at Ndejje. It will provide students with hands-on training using the latest medical technologies,” the university noted.
The university also highlighted the facility’s fully furnished laboratories, advanced lecture halls, and simulation rooms, which will enhance students’ practical skills and research capabilities. “With these cutting-edge resources, our graduates will be well-prepared to meet the demands of the medical profession and contribute meaningfully to the healthcare sector,” the statement added.
As one of the few institutions in Uganda offering medical programs, Ndejje University aims to position itself as a leader in healthcare education. “This expansion aligns with our vision of becoming a center of excellence in medical training and research, attracting students and faculty from across the country and beyond,” the university said.
With the new Medical School now operational, Ndejje University is set to play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare by equipping students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to drive innovation in the medical field.
