Presidential address pushed to Sunday

KAMPALA: Don Wanyama senior Presidential Press Secretary announced via his Twitter and Facebook accounts that The Presidential Address on Covid-19 has been pushed to Sunday, September 20, 8pm.

The presidential address is to give us an update on COVID19 in Uganda and to determine the fate of education institutions, bars, sports, events and other gatherings.

“Good people, the Presidential Address on Covid-19 has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 20th, at 8pm. It will be live on TVs and radios. Asante,” Read Wanyama’s message.

Uganda as so far registered 5000 Covid19 cases, at least 60 deaths and 2100 recoveries.

According to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, Africa has 1,353,283 Covid 19 cases with 32,625 deaths.
