Prisons finished top of the ladies’ league on 16 points while Nkumba University claimed the runners up slot on 14, UPDF (13), Police (8) and Ever Green (4) followed in that order.
In the other games played, Ever Green suffered a double loss against UPDF and Nkumba with 19-28 and 32-26 respectively in the ladies category while Prison Arrows edged Police Metro by a point margin (31-30), Ever Green beat Police Metro 26-21 and Prison Arrows were 40 to 36 victors over hosts Nkumba University in the men’s category.
The award giving ceremony that had been planned to take place after the games could not be effected due to inadequate lighting system and a date shall be communicated later.
