Rogers Kiyega Wins MUBS Guild Presidential Race

Uganda Young Democrats alias Democratic Party’s Rogers Kiyega Edward has been elected as Makerere University Business School (MUBS) guild president.

Rogers Kiyega won the election with 874 votes followed by Kakayi Nimrod with 785 votes, Valentine Ogwang Junior with 694, Bagumirabingi Joseph 363, Abisinguza Arnold with 93, and Kabaseke Edward with 06.

The elections took place yesterday 12th January 2022 at MUBs playground main campus.

MUBs guild presidential elections were scheduled for December 2021 but were later postponed after students who had missed on the voting lists ran away with the ballot boxes.

“Kiyega Rogers has been elected as MUBS guild president in a tightly contested race. Rogers received 874 votes and was closely followed by Kakayi Nimrod with 785 votes. Others included Valentine Ogwang Junior with 694, Bagumirabingi Joseph 363, Abisinguza Arnold with 93, and Kabaseke Edward with 06.
