Sunken, who are about to go on tour with julie this month, have shared a new single called ‘sofie’. The hypnotic, murky track arrives on the heels of the London quintet’s 10K EP. Check it out via the accompanying video, directed by frequent collaborators Travis Barton and Dylan Coates, below.
”I think some people you meet only want to interact with you because they want something and that always seems to end in an awkward tension where you both know you don’t really like each other,” singer Poppy reflected in a statement. “‘Sofie’ isn’t a real person, it’s just a placeholder for someone you meet who sucks and that’s what the song is about.”
