Trinity College Nabbingo old girls association in conjunction with Victoria University Uganda has considered to launch a campaign towards implementing of Trinity Junior school for females students, as a social corporate responsibility.
The campaign seeks to fundraise 14bn Ugx that shall be required to put the institute in place, in Wakiso Nabbingo, said the incharge of the campaign publicity and an old girl of the school, Nambirige Bridget in kampala at Victoria University headquarters.
“In order to acquire more funding, we have organized a sports galla the second edition that shall commence on 17th August 2024 in kampala at UICT grounds nakawa. We have also realized that very few girls from the community make it to the high schools because of the poor quality education acquired in junior schools”, added Nambirige on Wednesday.
She however, added that the initiative shall help us offer to the community an affordable but quality education, in order for the young girls to join the college. Government support is highly welcomed as this is part of development to the education sector of Uganda.
