Uganda has confirmed the 9th death of Covid-19 according to results released by the Ministry of Health Uganda on Monday 10th, August 2020.
According to the results, two more deaths of Covid-19 were registered.
These two included a 27-year old male from Kyangwali Refugee Settlement Camp in Hoima District who died at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital.
The second is a 46-year-old male, a resident of Kampala who died at Nsambya Hospital.
The statement released by the Ministry of Health indicated that the two deaths had signs and symptoms consistent with Covid-19 and results from the laboratories confirmed SARS-COV2.
The ministry noted that 14 new cases have also been confirmed from samples tested on Sunday 9th August 2020.
The cumulative confirmed cases in Uganda is 1,297.
