B-Global indigenous hiphop gatherings to awaken the spirit of the youths

B-Global Indigenous Hip Hop Gatherings are educational platforms designed to strengthen,encourage and celebrate the journey of the indigenous hip hop voice in Uganda.

The focus is to awaken the spirit of the youth voice.

They provide the space and resources for youth to gather together to learn from one another, grow with one another, and draw on the power of their roots and culture.

This process is meant to preserve the history of Indigenous Hip Hop Communities so that it provides a continuous positive inspiration for young men and women to use this platform to lead and build their communities.

The 2013 indigenous gatherings will be held at The HUB Kampala in Kamwokya at Kenneth Dale from22th – 24th December 2013.

Philimon Badagawa.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010).
