UK-based Ugandan blogger, Ritah Kaggwa who was arrested over the weekend has finally been released on bail from jail at CPS over false allegations against fellow blogger Senga Acid.
Ritah who last came to Uganda in 2017, jetted into the country together with her Nigerian hubby, Joseph Oshunkoya on August 3 and was welcomed by fellow bloggers.
All was going well and on August 12, Ritah officially took her hubby to her parents in a ceremony that was attended by her friends, bloggers and media personalities.
A day after the function, Ritah was arrested by police and thrown behind bars. Senga Acid opened the case against Ritah Kaggwa after the motor-mouthed Vice president of Uganda Bloggers Association made claims that she has HIV/AIDS.
