HiPipo Music Awards adds Honors to Celebrate Women and Expand Continental Coverage

The 6th prestigious HiPipo Music Awards in celebration of female talent, hard work and achievements has released nominees for 3 further female centric categories.  In addition, 2 Africa categories for Western and Southern Africa have been added to the honors.

HiPipo is committed to celebrating, honoring, and sustaining African music’s past, present, and future.

Commenting on the release, Innocent Kawooya, the CEO HiPipo noted that “Because HiPipo is keen to promote and celebrate female talent, hard work and achievements we believe it is a good opportunity to further celebrate women in music with the addition of 3 women categories plus also expanding our coverage to celebrate music from Western and Southern Africa”.

He added that “the last years have been filled with plenty of wonderful and very productive women in music; so many incredible women to look up to have been creating powerful art and some worth of trailblazing accomplishments, fueled by limitless creativity and impeccable work ethic.”

Alongside the success of these women-stars, there has been an incredible wave of newer and rising female artists. HiPipo Music Awards offers an opportunity to raise awareness of, and celebrate, the female accomplishment in Music through the female categories in addition to all the general categories for west and south Africa.
