Islamic University in Uganda’s 25th Graduation set for 11th November, 2017

Islamic University in Uganda Graduates

Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) is set to hold the 25th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday 11th November, 2017 beginning at 8:00a.m at the IUIU- Main-Campus in Mbale.

All graduands are expected to take their seats by 7:00 am prompt according t information from the office of the academic registrar.

Graduands have been told to take note of the following:

  • 1. Each graduand will pay graduation fees as follows; Undergraduate 283,000/= and Postgraduate 345,000/=. These figures exclude bank charges.
  • 2. The graduation fee shall be paid in Tropical Bank, Kampala Branch on Account No. 0010002303 or DFCU Bank, Mbale Branch on account number 01983521000021.
  • 3. Students should present a bank deposit slip to the Bursary in duplicate.
  • 4. Graduands who have paid all their University dues in full will be the ones to attend the graduation ceremony.
  • 5. The deadline for paying graduation fees, University fees and all other requirements is 15th October, 2017.
  • 6. Students who intend to graduate should register for graduation on or before 30th September at IUIU Main Campus, IUIU Kampala Campus, IUIU Arua Campus, IUIU Females’ Campus or IUIU Liaison Office, King Fahd Plaza Kampala.
  • 7. The Main Campus Graduands who wish to pick their gowns from the King Fahd Plaza, Kampala should register at King Fahd Plaza before 15th October, 2017. The Students who will not have registered at King Fahd Plaza will pick them at the Main Campus, Mbale.
  • 8. Students of Kampala Campus, Arua Campus and the Females’ Campus shall obtain their gowns from their Campuses.
  • 9. All Graduands are reminded to observe IUIU dress code to be allowed to attend the ceremony.
  • 10. The procession led by the Chairman of Council shall start at 9:00am. Once the congregation is officially constituted, all students and guests may not leave the Ceremony until the congregation is dissolved at 1:00pm.
  • 11. The students who completed their studies in the previous academic years but did not graduate will be allowed to graduate on satisfying the conditions stated in this announcement.
  • 12. No graduands, parents and all invited guests shall be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony with any of the following gargets; fire arms, large bags, radio communication gargets, cameras, pipes/ cylindrical objects, packed items including foods/drinks or any other gargets described as dangerous to life.
  • 13. All graduands must fill graduation guideline form and submit it to the office of Academic Registrar on or before 15th October, 2017
