Job Title:  Procurement Officer

About US:

Mandela National Stadium often referred to as Namboole Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kampala, Uganda. It is currently used mostly for football matches, although other sports are also practiced. The stadium has a capacity of 40,202 people. The stadium was built with a grant of $36 million dollars from the People’s Republic of China. The 40,202 capacity sports complex was built with a $36m Chinese government grant and opened in 1997.

Job Summary:  The Procurement Officer will technically support the organization in all aspects of procurement management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, B.Com/BBA
  • Hold Full or partial qualification in CIPS is an added advantage
  • At least five years’ experience in procurement gained while working with a reputable firm or public or private commercial or donor funded organization, 2 of which must have been acquired at a similar level/ position
