Jobs – 10 Branch Accounts Managers needed at BRAC International

Job Title:  Branch Accounts Managers (Finance and Administration (10 Jobs)

BRAC, the largest non-governmental development organization in the world, is working in a number of countries in Africa and Asia, with a view to alleviate poverty. The organization implements integrated development approach combining education, health, agriculture, Livestock, adolescent empowerment, and micro finance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·         The Branch Accounts manager should ensure that the cash collections for the day are properly receipted and banked before the close of the day.
·         Receiving of bankers’ cheques, recording financial transactions, counting money to verify amounts, and issuing receipts for funds received in a particular period.
·         Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entities to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documents of business transactions, etc.
·         Prepare and review budget, revenue expenses, invoices and other accounting documents.
·         Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staffs, senior accountant and the auditors/supervisors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·         The Branch Manager must hold a Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
·         Computer literacy skills a requirement with proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
·         Ability to coordinate work with all the other staff, including the immediate supervisors.
·         Strong communication skills.
Age: 20-25 years
