Job Summary: The Finance Manager will be responsible for effectively bridging the distance between the reality in the field and the figures. He/She adds value to good decision making in the Company without compromising his/her core responsibilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

3. Oversee the Accounting Function:
4. Relationship Management:
5. Tax compliance and structuring

• Data collection and verification
• Interpretation, advise to management
• Internal and external reporting

• Compliance audits

• Fraud prevention
• Risk control
• Insurance coverage
• Oversee the local and group audit process
• Implement ESG policies (environmental, social and governance)

• Supervision of Uganda accounts team
• Group accounts (consolidation)
• Suggests improvements administration systems
• Business planning
• Cash flow planning
• Responsible for treasury management
• In charge of medium and long term financial modeling

• Tax authorities
• Managing banks and other service providers

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must be a fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA accountant or similar
• At least ten years working experience, 3 years in a group controller role and MT member
• Experienced in international accounting, consolidation
• Excellent analytical skills, common sense
• Hands-on, operational focus (likes to be in the field with sales staff, clients etc.)
• Leadership skills (mature, self-confidence communication)
• Passion for target group
• At least 35 years old
