Job Summary: The Customer Service Officer will primarily respond to a variety of customer requests and inquiries via the telephone or in person over the counter; these include enquiries about banking products and services such as loans, savings, money transfer and insurance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

• The jobholder will receive and respond to customer service account inquiries on account balances, transaction details, statements and fees and charges.
• Receive and respond to clients and guest enquiries professionally and ensure they receive the necessary assistance when they visit the reception.
• Open new accounts/Closing accounts
• Alterations to existing savings, accounts and handling cash transactions and cash balancing
• Promote bank products, services and Identify customer needs
• Refer customers to appropriate banking services and representative
• Perform any other duty that may assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The applicant must at least hold a Diploma in Business related field
• One to two years of experience preferably in Microfinance or Banking industry.
