Prof. Mondo Kagonyera cautions youths on gambling
Makerere Business Institute (MBI) awarded diplomas and certificates to 1008 students who successfully completed their courses in different disciplines on Friday 30th.
585 (58%) of the total graduands were females while 423 (42%) were males.
Prof. Mondo Kagonyera, Chancellor of Makerere university who presided over the 11th graduation ceremony of Makerere Business Institute cautioned the graduates and the youths on gambling.
“Most youths are failing to look for jobs and have resorted to sports betting thus loosing the money”, Prof. Kagonyere said.
He advised the government to come up with strong measures against the rapid growing betting companies in Uganda.
