Makerere freshers urged to ‘Say No to sexual harassment’

The Director of Makerere University Gender and Mainstreaming, Dr. Euzobia Mugisha Baine has advised freshers to desist  against sexual harassment and be ambassadors of virtual while at the university.

Mugisha said this while addressing new students at the University Freshers’ Orientation held in the freedom square on August 6, 2018 of new students for the Academic year 2018/2019.

Please let someone know right away in case a person is engaging you in actions that you don’t feel comfortable with. the University appointed the Sexual Harassment Committee, some of the members are placed at the respective colleges, don’t hesitate to contact them,” she said.
