Makerere University Lecturers divided over planned strike

The Makerere University lectures have not yet decided on when to strike over delayed salary enhancements, that’s according Makerere University Academic Staff Association General Assembly.

The association asserts that they still need time over the move seeking a decision will be determined on September 28,2018.

Makerere UNiversity Academic Staff Association (MUASA) Chairperson Dr. Deus Kamunyu Muhwezi who chaired the assembly revealed that they require adequate time to determine their action.
