Mbarara university students strike over poor toilets

Students of Mbarara University of Science and Technology yesterday went on strike over poor toilets.

Students say the toilets don’t flush thus posing a healthy threat. And the institution produces medical professionals who who are allergic to poor hygiene.

Ant-Riot Police calmed the situation after students locked up lecture rooms and threatened to cane their Guild President.

However, the University Public relations officer, Denis Lutaaya promised that the administration will soon work on the students’ concerns.
