National Information Technology Authority (NITA) to Boost ICT through Improving Internet Access

Forget all about the OTT saga and social bundles’ elimination, the Ministry of Information and Technology is planning to improve internet access for all youths.

Through the National Information Technology Authority (NITA), the ministry is set to provide cheap internet with its National Backbone Infrastructure Project which will develope ICT innovations.

Officiating the launch of ICT applications to aid in virtual learning at Isbat University in Kampala on Thursday, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Frank Tumwebaze emphasized the benefit of ICT in education.
