The Miss Uganda 2018/2019 who also doubles as Miss World Africa , Quiin Abenakyo, will, on Sunday, February 17 flag off all the runners at the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) alumni run.

The run is aimed at supporting the financially incapacitated disabled students at the University with tuition through a scholarship program.

“It is on this note that the general public, the Alumni, friends, family and all well-wishers are called upon to raise funds for a worthy cause,” the organizers statement read.

The miss is a former graduate at the University and although a disagreement had earlier clopped up concerning the circumstances under which she received the degree, Abenakyo will act as both alumnus and chief runner.
