St Lawrence University Qualify for Knockout Stage

With 10 points, SLAU has already guaranteed a top two finish in Group B regardless of any further goal scores by other teams in the remaining matches.

It was a game full of tension as both sides fought hard to take the lead.

Busitema goal was guarded by Gita Musa while at the other goal, Emmy Okola defended St. Lawrence team.

Midway through the first half, St. Lawrence striker Marko Thomas was replaced due to an injury and thereafter the tempo of the game went down.

The second half saw St. Lawrence resort to defending their lead with the occasional counter attack.

On Tuesday, defending champions Uganda Martyrs University travel to play Kampala International University(KIU).
