University football league: UCU 1-1 MUBS

The game between Uganda Christian University and Makerere University Business School was played in Mukono at 4:00 PM.

“Qualification may be assured, but we want to top the group to stay in the seeding. Obviously, we look forward to victory over UCU, MUBS’ Ayeiko said before the match kicked off.

“Every match is a different story. You have seen how UCU have been winning 3-0 in most of their games and only drew 2-2 in their last game, so you never know what can happen in a match.”

But progress to the quarter finals has been serene for both MUBS and UCU with their prodigiously talented sides that boasts of the likes of Adura Aaron, Martin Bugembe and Fred Ovoya (MUBS) and Amos Muwonge, Jerome Luzinda and Fred Kyambadde (UCU) will be one of the favourites to win the whole thing.
