Kyambogo University is facing extended delays for its upcoming 19th graduation ceremony, which was initially set to take place from December 6th to December 8th, 2023.
The delay is causing frustration among students who completed their studies in January of the same year. Many are currently engaged in school practice and industrial training while awaiting graduation.
The prolonged wait of over 8 months has led to discontent among the student body, with some expressing their dissatisfaction and suggesting that the university should issue transcripts and certificates of graduation in the meantime.
Last year, Kyambogo University witnessed a record number of graduates, and a similar trend is expected this year.
