Makerere University Confirms Date for Freshers’ Orientation 2023
According to a statement released by the office of the academic registrar at Makerere University, freshers’ orientation will commence on Friday 20th August 2023 to Friday 25th August 2023 (7 days).
Orientation usually happens the week subsequent to the reporting date, and that signifies that the reporting date for fresh university students is expected to be Saturday ahead of the orientation.
Meanwhile, the process for selecting successful candidates under the Direct Private Sponsorship Scheme is ongoing. The lists are expected to be released July.
Applications through different entry schemes have closed with the last one being admission to Bachelor of education external (BED) 2023/24 which closed on June 16.
