Makerere University Wins Bid to Host 2020 World Health Summit

Makerere University has won the bid to host the African Regional World health summit, the very first on the African continent.

The university Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe has confirmed the development on his social media pages expressing his gratitude towards achieving such an honor.

“The M8 Alliance has announced Makerere as the winner of the bid to host the African Regional 2020 -The First in Africa. I congratulate our committed staff and the Mak College of Health Sciences for the job well done,” Prof. Nawangwe posted on his twitter page.
