Makerere University is calling for applications for admission to the Bachelor of Education External degree course

The Academic Registrar, Makerere University invites applications for admission to the   three year BACHELOR OF EDUCATION EXTERNAL (BED) degree programme for the 2015/2016 academic year.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Each applicant should hold at least a credit or second class diploma in education from a recognised institution.

THE FEES PAYABLE BY UGANDAN APPLICANTS WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO REVIEW ARE AS FOLLOWS:

TUITION FEES                    –         SHS.400,000/= PER SEMESTER

REGISTRATION FEE            –         SHS.100,000/= PER YEAR

EXAMINATION FEE             –         SHS.100,000/= PER YEAR

DEVELOPMENT FEE             –         SHS.123,500/= PER YEAR

FIELD ATTACHEMENT FEE   –         SHS.100,000/= PER SEMESTER

TECHNOLOGY FEE              –         SHS. 50,000/=  PER YEAR

RESEARCH FEE                   –         SHS.  20,000/= PER YEAR

LIBRARY FEES                   –         SHS.  20,000/= PER YEAR

NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR

HIGHER EDUCATION FEE     –         SHS.  20,000/= PER YEAR

The Application Fee of Shs.50,000/= plus Bank Charges must be paid to any Stanbic Bank, Or Dfcu Bank (Makerere Branch) before collecting the application form from the Admissions Office (Room No. 314), Level 3, Academic Registrar’s Department in Senate Building, Makerere University, from where additional information may be obtained.

  The closing date for submission of applications is Friday 27^th February, 2015.
