Students of  Makerere University Business School (MUBS) recently voted Pasquine Acaka as their new Guild President.

Acaka, was the only female candidate. She beat four others in the race with more than 50% of the votes cast.

She belongs to Democratic Party.

Acake becomes the first female guild president in the history of MUBS.  She is 22 years old.

Other female Guild presidents at Public universities in Uganda are Anna Adeke of Makerere university and Arach Zilla Mary of  Busitema University.
