Blankets and Wine Festival happened on Sunday at Lugogo Cricket Oval, after the day started with a steady downpour

However, that did not stop party people from turning up in large numbers.

Many people wore tall, waterproof boots to the 29th Edition of the event, so some astute Ugandans even took advantage of the situation by selling gumboots there to people who hadn’t brought their own.

Despite the mud, the event was a resounding success, with Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) stepping up to deliver exciting experiences with several brands – Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff Pineapple, Gilbeys Mixed Berries, and Rockshore Tropical Beer.

There were also games like foosball, a 360 camera and a silent disco that had attendees hooked.

The Performers included Casper Nyovest, Barack with his hit single “Nana”, Azawi.

Cassper Nyovest, a South African rapper had a good 55 minutes of performance during his second visit toUganda at Blankets and Wine. He performed both old and some new songs that he has just released.
