Job Title:  Credit Analyst

Organization: Centenary Bank

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Supervisor SME Credit

About US:

Centenary Bank is a leading Commercial Microfinance Bank serving over a third of the banking population with services that can be accessed across 80 branches, 191 ATMs and over 5,200 CenteAgents and other digital platforms.

Job Summary:  The Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing credit worthiness of clients, and viability of credit proposals in line with the bank’s credit policy and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Lower Second Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and other related fields
  • At least four years of experience in credit evaluation in a regulated financial Institution. Experience in evaluation of agriculture related projects is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of credit products
  • Knowledge of the Financial Institutions and MDI Acts
  • Excellent computer skills (Word and Excel sheets)
  • Analytical skills
  • Reporting skills
  • Communication skills
  • Decision Making
  • Team work
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to Work under pressure with minimum supervision.
