
105 graduate with first class at Kyambogo university.
Prof. Elly Katunguka, Kyambogo University acting Vice Chancellor said out of the 150 first class graduates, 107 were degree graduates while 43 were diploma graduates.
Prof. Katunguka was speaking at the 10th Graduation ceremony where a total of 6,713 students graduated with degrees, diplomas and certificates in different academic disciplines.
Kyambogo university 10th graduation started on 20th and ends today 21st February 2013.
The education minister, Jessica Alupo said government will give Kyambogo university 70billion shillings for improving university infrastructure and training university staff.
“Government is finalizing the acquisition of a loan from the African Development Bank to improve infrastructure, equipment and staff training”, Alupo revealed .
