About the Job:

Palladium seeks Kampala—based staff for its newly awarded Uganda Health Systems Strengthening (UHSS) Project. The purpose of the UHSS Project is to strengthen Uganda’s health system through improved leadership and accountability for results in public and private health sectors. All staff must be fluent in written and spoken English and able and willing to travel frequently within Uganda. Experience on USAID-funded contracts is highly desired.


Job Summary:  

Under the direction of the Finance & Administration (F&A) Director, s/he is responsible for assisting the UHSS leadership team to manage and direct the financial accounting, administration, and reporting of the project, including budget administration, payroll processing, banking and cash management, financial reporting, and reconciliation of expenses.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:·     

    Bachelor‘s degree in accounting, finance or related field required; masters and/or CPA preferred.·         Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting for donor-funded projects; experience with USAID contracts highly preferred.·         Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.·         Well-developed and effective organizational skills, including to ability to multi~task and work in a high-pressure environment.
