Makerere Business Institute offers Diploma and Certificate courses in the following areas:

  2. Secretarial studies

  4. Stores Management
  5. Purchasing and Supplies Management
  6. Journalism
  7. Banking and Finance
  8. Accountancy
  9. Information Communication and Technology
  10. Business Computer Applications(Compulsory for all students)

Study Sessions

Morning:       7:45am – 1:00pm

Afternoon:    2:00pm – 5:00pm

Evening:       6:00pm – 8:30pm

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
