Job Title: Business Manager
 
NFT Consult, a leading HR Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit for it valuable client, a Health Management Organization that specialises on Dental services. NFT Human Resource Solutions are customer tailored per industry requirements and are geared towards increased cost savings, process improvement leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness yet simultaneously strengthening quality and control of resources.
Job Summary: The Business Manager will support the directors in effectively executing their business plan by implementing and executing management policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. HR Administration:
  • Offer overall supervision of support team staff, which includes clinical assistants, front office assistant, patient services manager, messenger/driver and cleaner.
  • Ensure excellent working relations between all team members.
  • Maximize staff efficiency by ensuring compliance with contracts, employment handbook and good workplace practices.
  • Administer staff schedule, including leave and developing absentee contingency plans to ensure work continuity.
  • Administer staff benefits.
  • Responsible for Payroll submissions.
  • Ensure there is full compliance with NSSF and PAYE regulations and submissions.
2. Financial Administration:
  • Accurately enter financial transactions on QuickBooks to ensure seamless monthly reconciliation, audit and tax preparation.
  • Receive and accurately enter supplier bills manually and on QuickBooks.
  • Responsible for the management of Accounts Payable.
  • Verify accurate entry of Treatment Invoices on QuickBooks (correspond to codes and amounts in Open Dental).
  • Management of Accounts Receivable.
  • Receive bank statements and avail of accountant for monthly reconciliation.
  • Offer timely follow up to banking transactions, such as TT confirmations and queries.
  • Balance receipts with takings at close of business.
  • Deposit daily takings on respective bank accounts.
  • Communicate daily performance summary to Dr. Aliker.
  • Compile and analyze financial reports monthly as follows; Business profit and loss statement, Business balance sheet, Business supplier balance summary, Business customer balance summary, Clinic productivity report, Individual doctors profit and loss statement
3. General Administration:
  • Maintain adequate stock of administrative supplies, which should be maintained in such a way to balance tied-up capital versus sufficient operational stock.
  • Keeping petty cash account in positive balance.
  • Administer petty cash account.
  • Build, maintain, foster and manage supplier relationships.

  • Responsible for ensuring redundant backup of data to allow seamless continuity of business if reconstitution required.
  • Supervise overall maintenance of premises and equipment to high standard.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal applicant should preferably hold a Business-related certificate, diploma or degree
  • Past exposure and experience in business administration or management highly desirable
  • Moderate understanding and experience in small business accounting
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. competencies in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and QuickBooks
