Wadri Kassiano has officially taken on the seat as the new Member of Parliament for Arua municipality.He served the 9th parliament as the chairperson of the public accounts committee of parliament.
The MP was elected on August 16,2018 but was not present at the time of the casting because he had been detained the previous evening.

Wadri was granted bail by the Gulu High Court on Monday this week with other co-accused colleagues who are facing treason charges but was barred from travelling to his home.
The legislator admitted that he possessed a pistol on the day of his arrest in Arua, but was acquired legally.
